A Little History:

Kimberly Sherman-Cook graduated from Rob Roy Academy in 1996 and has 20 years of experience in the beauty industry. What really sets Kimberly apart is her ability to help clients rejuvenate their mind, body and spirit of her clients by really listening to her client’s needs. Services with her are just the right balance of fun and relaxation. Kimberly understands all too well that clients want to look great when they leave but they also want to feel great too. Over the years Kimberly been known not only as a stylist but also a presenter and educator for Joico International; during which time she worked to provide local salons with education in the newest trends in color and hair fashion. She also worked closely as a member of Joico’s artistic team to create the hair fashions displayed by models during trade shows in Boston, New York and Virginia. Since education is very important to Kimberly, even after leaving the artistic team to open her salon in 2004, Kimberly made it a point to keep current on the latest hair and nail fashions each season. Kimberly is a Master Stylist & Color Specialist as well as a Nail Technician. Some of her talents include: creative hair design acrylics and gels, organic based coloring, permanent waving, chemical straightening, up-styling, artificial nails, gel polish, colored acrylic, specialty all natural spa pedicures and eyebrow and lip waxing.

In addition to her skills as a stylist Kimberly holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in psychology and English. She graduated Suma Cum Lade from Fitchburg State University in 2013. After spending two years in the public education system Kimberly decided to return fulltime to hair styling so that she could devote more time to her family.  Kimberly also wanted to spend more time to teaching about spiritual growth, writing and speaking publicly about the modern witchcraft movement. In addition to being a mother and wife Kimberly is also a crafter, photographer and an artist.

As a writer and minister Kimberly strives to bring the knowledge to others in a tangible and self-empowering way. She is the author of the book In the Shadow of 13 Moon’s, a book that focuses on self-evolution and transformation through facing the shadow-self. In her time as a Minister, healer and teacher she has led seasonal celebrations, rites of passage, taught about the many aspects of healing as well as formed and headed her own spiritual group. In addition Kimberly helped to found the Pagan Education Network in 2005. In 2006, PEN became a legally recognized 501(c)3. PEN was developed to focus on helping to facilitate education for those looking for teaching and training in the ways of paganism, self-empowerment, spiritual growth and personal healing. Kimberly is an ordained High Priestess within her spiritual tradition as well as a fifth degree initiate/high priestess of the Temple of Witchcraft and a priestess of the Sisterhood of Avalon.

After a short interruption during the time Kimberly was in school and tending to the many changes taking place in her life, Kimberly has now returned to public service as a Minister to perform weddings and rites of passage as well as serve as a guide for those seeking to learn alternative healing methods.
